Voting station

Voting

We are the vote collectors, our job is to make sure you vote by giving you a voting station under any circumstance. Without you we are nothing, that’s exactly why we aren’t lazy to come to you pleading with you to give that vote to us.
We depend on you to split the powers among ourselves, that’s why we suddenly remember where you all live and understand all your difficulties before the elections, but never after. Without you, our peace in parliament will turn out to be a violent war with everyone choosing to lead. But now we know who should lead us because your vote gives us clarity.
Anyone can be a leader and everybody wants to lead, but your vote saves us the headache of having to argue about who should lead and who should lead who, unfortunately, we just don't get to thank you enough because our work schedule stands on our way when we think of coming back to thank you as soon as you finish voting for us.
Our efforts to keep you happy always meet a stumbling block, at least when the elections are miles away. It’s a different story when they are approaching because we simply replace every failure with promises. We promise to do everything for you as soon as you put that “X” on our favor. Unfortunately, that pushes us away from you when we have it, blocks our way back to you to fulfill all the promises we’ve made, that’s probably the reason we always disappear after you gave it to us.
We try to keep the promises we made to you, but it always proves to be a lot of work we can’t accomplish, but to bring you a voting station is forever easy, it’s more like giving you empty promises in exchange with what belongs to us, your vote.
We can't give you free wheelchairs, even comfortable beds when you're really in need for help of that kind, but we will wake you up with a voting station in your bed as if it's a warm cup of tea in the morning.
You’re blind, you can't walk, you can't talk, we will bring you a voting station at any cost. Even if you hide under the rocks, to get that "X" from you we’ll do anything.
We can get everywhere on time, before the deadline period, but we can't go that far to give you the services you need, it’s just too expensive.
We'll probably excuse you if you are mentally disabled, but you have to convince us that you know nothing about us, because we'll bring a voting station to your doorstep before you start acting strange.
You can lie in a hospital bed for all you can, I'm afraid we have already offered you free bed and people who will help you when they decide to, so we can't do anything more to speed up your recovery, give you more services you deserve but we'll bring a voting station to your hospital bedside.
If your eyes still blink, your fingers can still move, which means you can still decide where you want to see that "X" before your last words, therefore we'll bring you a voting station.
We can't afford to create jobs for you, it’s so demanding, takes all of our time, limit our chances of getting rich, but we will bring you that voting station to your doorstep if we have to.
Petrol goes up every month or two, electricity price is unbearable, you can't afford to sit for a good meal because everything is so expensive, but a voting station is so cheap it will hunt you even when you escape to other countries hoping for a break, because we need that “X”
You can count the times you see us going around the street to hear your difficulties but you'll run out of breath trying to count the voting stations because we make sure we get that "X" in every corner.
We adore you when you start growing up because that to us means another promising voter is coming. Don't blame us, we try to give you education and other supports to help you get there, but the truth is, we can't wait for you to turn eighteen because we need that “X”, what happens after, it’s none of our business.
Get your fingers ready, we will soon flood your streets campaigning for more votes, but don’t forget to prepare your mind for more empty promises too.
