So we can have you back

There are those artists whom, when they release an album you just want to get your hands on it, it doesn't matter if you download it, buy it from the music store, borrow yourself from your friend's CD cabinet or fake your death in the middle of the road so that a delivery truck can pick you up only to steal an album inside the back later. You just don't care as long as you have it.
We sometimes pick that one song that stood up above the rest from those albums, dedicate it to those we care about to express our admiration for them or to those we don’t want to hear from them anymore because some songs just get it all right, they find a way to perfectly pass the message loud and clear, way better than our own set of words would do, with some band in the background perfectly match the lyrics to tell exactly how you want them or just to tell them where to back off.
There’s a little war going on silently out there, woman blame man as the reason why most relationships fail, man blame woman as the main cause, but as men, we are subject to more criticism because we are always wrong even when we did nothing, the blame will be on us. Even when the women do us wrong the blame will be on us still, apparently, they do wrong because of us, which is true sometimes but not all the time. They get lonely because we are hardly there, they get to raise their kids all by themselves because we ran away, we make them cry, break their hearts for our own selfish reasons and everything else we do.
Some of the women chose to be single because of us, they couldn’t take any more lies and disappointments from us, because to them having a man in their lives is just bringing trouble and endless heartache. I accept that blame on behalf of all the men.
I hear them bragging, calling themselves “single and happy”, “single and not looking”, “men are dogs”, “being single doesn’t mean you’re lonely” and all other names we haven’t heard of. I guess those are the names of the guy who replaced us all, he is probably acting as their new imaginary boyfriend when they console themselves trying to overlook the fact that they don’t have an actual man in their lives.
Well, firstly, congratulations, that’s probably an achievement because it’s not easy moving from being in love to being single. But I’d like to dedicate these “Joe Thomas” lyrics from the song titled “So I can have you back” to those who opted to stay away from us because of their bad experiences about relationships, those who couldn’t bear to deal with us because of our wrongdoings and bad treatment they received from us, I really don’t support that.
[Chorus]
I hope he makes the biggest mistake
The unforgivable that makes your heartbreak
I hope you tell him "sorry is just not enough"
And it goes from good to bad, so I can have you back
[Verse II]
So many memories tell how long it's been
And I accept the blame as to why you're with him
He wouldn't approve of us just being friends
Please, that's all I need
[Chorus]
I hope he makes the biggest mistake
The unforgivable that makes your heartbreak
I hope you tell him "sorry is just not enough"
And it goes from good to bad, so I can have you back
I know this sounds very rude, but I deeply wish “he” (“single and happy”, “single and not looking”, “men are dogs”, “being single doesn’t mean you’re lonely”) hurt you so badly even a thousand apologies become not enough so we can have you back. I hope he disappoints you so badly that you decide to give us a chance to undo all the wrongs that resulted in you giving up on us, led you to think we are incapable of loving you hoping this time we'll love you until all your doubts find a hole to bury themselves.
We love you all, there’s nobody like you in our lives, and you cannot give up on us.
