You have your life in order. You’re comfortable with what you have. Probably not rich, just comfortable.
You can go wherever you want to go, you can do whatever you want to do, and you can be with most people that interest you.
Your car is beautiful and perfectly match your personality. You admire it because you wouldn’t have chosen any better for your budget
Your house is good for your liking, not fancy, just cozy enough for your lifestyle

You have an amazing group of friends, those who laugh even when nothing’s funny. They pull you up when you need someone to cheer you up, they’re forever there when you call.
You can just turn a Monday into a Friday night in a club because spending for one another is never a problem.

You have a business, but you call it a side hustle because calling it a business sounds too formal.

Life isn’t that bad because you have the most of what you desire, and your wants are met just fine. If it breaks, you replace it. If anything leaves you, you find another one. Life goes on, right? And it’s too short to be holding on to things and people.

But if you want to see that the devil exists, make changes in your life. Make bigger plans like buying more houses, growing your business, getting married to that long time girlfriend.

Think about growing your business and actually make an effort to realize that, like planning an official name, and looking at store layouts.
Think about getting rid of that smaller but perfectly suitable for groove car and nightstand, into a more family suitable car.
Think about cutting a number of your friends, limiting the nights at the groove, and all the places that make you focus less on building your life.

Think about making it two or three with your baby mama.
Think about smoking a peace gun, forgiving those you had differences with in the past, I mean, you’re adults now, right?  There’s really no point not getting along because of stupid things you said/did in your teenage years

Then you’ll realize that the devil does exist and She really hates progress.

There’s a chance that the number of friends you’ll choose after cutting those forever ready for a night out even on a Tuesday evening will turn out to be the most destructive people in your life.
The baby mama you’ll choose out of all your options will make you wonder every time you look at her, am I making the right choice here?

You’ll have more enemies, fewer friends, less support, and countess problems that when you look closer it’s just destruction to slow you down.
You’ll feel like you can just cut everything and everyone because they’ll be the source of your problems, but you won’t be able to because they’ll also be the center of your plans, the reason you’re everything you'll be. Extending a house, building a legacy, buying a bigger car, spending more time at home, and valuing collaboration.

Every once in a while, you'll look back and realize your life was much better with fewer challenges before you embarked on this life changing experiment.

But it’s just the devil working overtime to keep you in the same place you’ve been in or even attempting to destroy you. Unfortunately, there's no clear strategy on how to defeat that. Maybe having a good conversation with your elders might just help you get over it if that’s what you’re going through, it might help you handle it a little differently when it eventually forms part of your life at some point in time because the devil exists and she hates progress.
