Nothing is guaranteed in life, everything come and go
Sometimes you think you got it all covered, it simply slips off your fingers
When you least expecting, everything falls into the right places
When you take it all for granted, you suffer the consequences
Sometimes you plan so hard, yet still get it wrong
But there’s a very rare chance that you might somehow get it right, it’s just not guaranteed
People are untrustworthy, they lie, they disappoint each other
Those you think you can trust turn to be the ones who turn around and stab you from the back
Those who always occupy the bottom spot on your list, turn to be the ones who always got your back covered
Until they get fed up of playing a second fiddle
Things you think you deserve, distance themselves from you
You fight so hard to protect what you already have, but sometimes everything just disappears
You sit down and do nothing, everything passes you by
You keep your arms wide open, waiting to receive, but everything takes a different path
Away from you, because nothing is guaranteed
But through all the uncertainty that life brings, the disappointments that we cause to each other
The lies, the fears, the betrayals and everything else that happens in life
Isn’t there that one person who worth bearing the pain for, the suffering
That one who worth giving a benefit of a doubt to, taking all the risk for
Isn't there that one person you can walk on snow with barefoot to put a smile on their faces?
That one person, whom you can give up that one thing you love the most for them
Someone you'd walk on the rain for, risk it all to keep them happy
Because everything else lose meaning without them in your life
Dear Reader
If the answer is “Yes”, let them know and make sure they always remember that
“It’s all about one day at a time, one day at a time”
